Mihir Ahuja on assembly IAF veterans for Operation Safed Sagar: `It`s wonderful`



Earlier this month, Mihir Ahuja performed an aspiring footballer battling for his goals in Shabad: Reet Aur Riwaaz. Weeks from now, the actor will battle battles within the sky as he stars as an Indian Air Drive (IAF) officer in Netflix’s Operation Safed Sagar. For the upcoming collection that depicts India’s aerial marketing campaign in the course of the 1999 Kargil Warfare, Ahuja has stepped into the sneakers of retired IAF officer Bal Reddy. “Folks name him Baldy. I spoke to him over a name, and it was an [unbelievable] second,” an enthusiastic Ahuja informed mid-day.

If his first dialog with Reddy felt surreal, assembly the IAF veteran on the collection’ launch in Mumbai left him in awe of the real-life hero. He recalled, “We have been with all of the real-life [officers] on the stage. It’s wonderful to be of their presence and hearken to their tales. They lived that life, went to a struggle, and their members of the family didn’t even know whether or not they would come again!”

There’s one more reason why Operation Safed Sagar stands out for the actor, who featured in The Archies (2023). The collection gave him the possibility to movie with actual fighter planes. “I can’t even clarify that euphoric second, once I was in entrance of the true MiGs and sitting in them. I get chills speaking about it.”
