Shilpa Shetty exits Coke over scheduling points; Shefali Shah to interchange her

In February, mid-day had reported that Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Jackie Shroff have been set to reunite for a slice-of-life sequence (Life in a metro with ’90s stars, Feb 21). However it appears like there was a casting change within the sequence, tentatively titled Coke. Sources near the event have informed us that Shetty has exited the venture.

Apparently the actor’s exit comes all the way down to scheduling conflicts. A supply revealed, “Shilpa was excited in regards to the materials and the prospect to collaborate with Jackie once more after Jung [2000]. However the dates couldn’t be aligned, given her current commitments.” The present, backed by Boong producers Shujaat Saudagar and Vikesh Bhutani, is anticipated to go on flooring later this month.

With the timeline locked, the makers have moved swiftly to safe a substitute. And a robust performer at that — Shefali Shah. Phrase is that the actor is in superior talks to headline the story.
