Switching to New Outlook? Here is the best way to transfer your calendar and contacts

Restoring your calendar

To revive the calendar, open New Outlook and click on on Add Calendar beneath the month-to-month view. Subsequent choose Add from File, then Browse. Discover the ICS file and choose Open. Below Choose Calendar, choose the calendar you want to restore. When you’ve clicked Import, Outlook will add the saved information to your present calendar.

Now your contacts.

Save your contacts as a CSV file. In New Outlook, open Contacts on the sidebar. They are going to seem there underneath the Folks tab. Subsequent, click on Export Contact within the ribbon, then Export.

Outlook will then compile the CSV file together with your contact data and reserve it to your native Downloads folder. Now open Contacts and click on on Import Contacts. Subsequent click on on Choose Browse for a File and add the CSV file. Lastly, choose Open after which Import within the subsequent window.
