Bronze Statue Unveiling of Padma Shri Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry Held at Anakapalli

The bronze statue unveiling ceremony of legendary lyricist and Padma Shri awardee Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry was held in a grand method at Gandhinagar, Anakapalli, close to the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple. The occasion was organized beneath the aegis of the TANA Literary Wing – TANA World Literary Discussion board, with the help of the Authorities of Andhra Pradesh and the Anakapalli Sirivennela Kalapeetham.
The programme was presided over by former Minister and Anakapalli MLA Sri Konathala Ramakrishna. The statue was ceremoniously unveiled by famend filmmaker Sri Trivikram Srinivas, within the presence of Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry’s relations. Following the disclosing, a Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry Mahotsava Sabha was held on the Pentakota Conference Corridor.
Addressing the gathering, Sri Konathala Ramakrishna recalled that Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry, born on the auspicious day of Ratha Saptami in Anakapalli, rose to nationwide and worldwide prominence as an eminent poet and lyricist, bringing immense satisfaction and recognition to his birthplace. Sri Trivikram Srinivas praised Sirivennela’s contributions to Telugu literature and cinema, highlighting his distinctive type and impression.
The occasion was a becoming tribute to Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry’s enduring legacy, together with his household, mates, and admirers paying homage to his outstanding achievements.
