Film lovers offended with Filmmakers craze for sequels

Film lovers offended with Filmmakers’ craze for Sequels. Of late, Tollywood is coming with Sequels or duology not ending the movies within the first half however making viewers await the second half.

The fascination or obsession for the duology elevated ever since Rajamouli’s sensation with Baahubali. However what they’re conveniently forgetting the very fact is that Rajamouli after Baahubali, ended his movie RRR in single half and even his subsequent mission SSMB29 will not be a duology.

Current releases, NTR’s Devara, Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu, Vijay Devarakonda’s Kingdom and earlier Prabhas’ Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD turned out to be duologys. Prabhas bought so vexed up that he determined that his subsequent movies will finish in single half and won’t be a duology.

It’s recognized that the story telling in Devara, Hari Hara Veera Mallu and Kingdom bought impacted by the makers obsession for duologys which made them drag the screenplay and narration unnecessarily.

Followers expressed their anger within the following approach.

“Please cease making second halves simply to arrange an element 2. Inform the complete story in a single movie. The second half felt very weak to me. It began like a blockbuster however ended as a mean film. It’s like they ruined movie simply to create a cliffhanger for the following half. #Kingdom,” wrote one individual.

“Tollywood ought to cease this part-1 part-2 s**t. Potential una motion pictures ani biscuit ipothunay. (It’s ruining motion pictures with potential) if producers want cash make high quality motion pictures and mint the cash not within the title of Sequels.. #Kingdom,” wrote one X consumer, blaming producers.

“@SitharaEnts why did you take away #hridayamLopala track? Heroine enduku? Enduku andi 2 elements viewers meeda ruduthunaru? KGF reference? (Sithara Entertainments why did you take away Hridayam Lopala track? Why’s the heroine there? Why are you insisting the viewers with movies in 2 elements? KGF reference?)”

#Kingdom Its a misfire when it comes to both writing or the ultimate edit – this complete 2 half idea has killed the storytelling of movies. Kingdom does not work out as a stand alone movie. Sure the climax has the identical potential when it comes to Salaar/Kalki however it does not really feel proper right here.”

“cease force-fitting 2-3 elements into each movie. Felt pointless in Devara, and now this too.”
