Hollywood Filmmaker steals from Satyajit Ray movie
Wes Anderson, American filmmaker, chatting with scribes at Cannes Movie Pageant, mentioned he stole a scene from late Indian filmmaker Satyajit Ray.
He offered Satyajit’s 1971 movie Aranyer Din Ratri after spearheading its restoration, he admitted to copying a well-known scene from it for his 2023 movie Asteroid Metropolis.
