Priyanshu Painyuli calls Paan Parda Zarda character largest position of his profession
After enjoying Robin Agarwal in Mirzapur, Priyanshu Painyuli is thrilled to reunite with the makers of the cult present. This time, it’s for the Jio Studios undertaking, Paan Parda Zarda, a gritty gangster drama. “It has been a creatively fulfilling journey,” he says.
Set in opposition to the backdrop of unlawful opium smuggling in Central India, the sequence additionally stars Mona Singh, Tanya Maniktala, Tanvi Azmi, Sushant Singh, Rajesh Tailang, and Manu Rishi.

The sequence, which wrapped up in March this 12 months and lately accomplished last-minute patch work, marks what Painyuli believes is “the largest position of his profession”.
“Coming from the makers of Mirzapur, this undertaking felt like a pure development. Painyuli is assured that Paan Parda Zarda breaks the mould of typical crime thrillers. “After I learn the script, I knew it’s unapologetically daring. The storytelling calls for one thing uncooked from you as an actor. With this, we’re pushing the boundaries of what a desi crime saga can feel and appear like. It’s received a pulse of its personal,” explains the actor.
