Producers vs Federation combat intensifies

The combat between Tollywood producers and Workers Federation relating to wages hike is intensifying.

Some Tollywood Producers determined to method the Competitors Fee of India (CCI) towards the Federation what they name the monopoly.

T.Prasanna Kumar, Basic Secretary of Tollywood Producers Council stated “Now we have ready all of the paperwork to maneuver the CCI to New Delhi, and our representatives are already there. Again in 2017, the CCI had questioned the Federation’s monopoly and strict guidelines stopping non-members from working in movies. We’ll once more make the Chamber a celebration on this case and demand that producers be allowed to rent staff of their alternative with none hassles,”

He additionally took sturdy objection to the Federation demand of using ten native fighters even when the makers rope in 10 fighters from Mumbai. He stated “We find yourself paying native fighters even when they don’t work. Out of the 25,000 staff within the Federation, solely about 50% are getting jobs. We hope they’ll quickly settle for the Chamber’s proposals for a nine-hour shift and different proposals. The demand for further pay for dual-language shoots also needs to be scrapped, since they already earn double wages if working hours are prolonged,”
