Vishnu responds on Kannappa controversy over Brahmin depiction. Manchu Vishnu is coming to entertain along with his movie Kannappa. The movie is directed by Mahabharat fame Mukesh Kumar Singh. Kannappa is releasing on 27 June 2025.

The makers are selling the movie and within the meantime, controversy triggered with the Brahmin neighborhood taking exception over the depiction of Brahmanandam and Saptagiri within the roles of Gilaka and Pilaka and in addition the mis illustration of Kannappa’s spouse as a tribal woman.

Siripurapu Sridhar Sharma, State President of BCV (Brahmin Chaitanya Vedika) held a press convention and expressed robust opposition and demanded clarification from Manchu Vishnu and his dad Mohan Babu over the difficulty for disrespecting the Brahmin neighborhood and hurting their sentiments.
