Skip the 8GB laptops — this Asus Vivobook 16 with 16GB RAM is $140 off
If you happen to’re searching for a brand new laptop computer and don’t need to accept 8GB of RAM, this Asus Vivobook 16 is positively value a glance. It’s at the moment $529.99 at Amazon, which is $140.01 off of the unique $670 value.
One factor I actually like about this deal is that Asus didn’t low cost out on the reminiscence. You get 16GB of RAM, which is what I’d go for in a laptop computer nowadays. Positive, you’ll be able to nonetheless discover loads of lower-cost laptops with 8GB, however 16GB provides you much more respiration room if you’re bouncing between browser tabs and applications.
You’re additionally getting a 512GB SSD, so storage isn’t an afterthought both. Put these two specs collectively, and this seems like a laptop computer you’ll be able to really dwell with for just a few years slightly than one you’ll need to improve in a yr or so.
The Snapdragon X processor is one other good match for this type of laptop computer. It’s designed with effectivity in thoughts, so the main target is much less on uncooked efficiency and extra on providing you with a responsive machine for the day by day stuff, paired with a long-lasting battery.
The 16-inch 1920×1200 show is another excuse I’d take into account this over a small funds laptop computer. You get extra display actual property for spreadsheets and paperwork, because the 16:10 facet ratio provides you slightly extra vertical area than a typical 1080p display.
This laptop computer isn’t making an attempt to wow you with one premium characteristic. As an alternative, it’s providing you with a well-rounded set of specs. It’s top-of-the-line Prime Day laptop computer offers round in case you’re on a funds — particularly in case you don’t need to endure the sacrifices an 8GB laptop computer requires.
